On Monday, June 07, 2010 Apple will update it’s now aging smart phone with a fourth generation iPhone.
Expect Apple’s new 4th generation iPhone to offer a sharper display, faster processor and improved flash camera to better compete with newer phones using the Android operating system and Qualcomm’s speedy 1-GHz Snapdragon processor.
Sprint is offering a 4G network (4th generation) capable of ten times the speed of existing 3G networks. Their Evo phone running Android using the Snapdragon chip is a category killer. Unfortunately, I understand the 4G network was introduced in Philadelphia and that nationwide service may not be available until later this year or beyond.
Verizon is the top rated network and their top phones include the Droid from Motorola and the newer Droid Incredible from HTC, although I’ve heard battery life may be a weak point with the Incredible.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & SMARTPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS?
I am thinking of going for the Incredible. Please feel free to chime in with your experience with your latest smart phone.
