JUNE GLOOM IN AUGUST

Mission Viejo- 7:00 am, August 02, 2010

Although sunrise was 6:03 the morning the grey Gloom of June is still with us in August.  The cause is the cool ocean temperature which has remained in the sixties for the past month.

Last year we enjoyed ocean temperatures in the low to mid seventies for most of the summer.  This year it’s been as low as 61 degrees and rarely rising above 67.

Time to jump on a flight to a Mexican beach.
