BIGGEST MOON IN 18 YEARS
On March 19, the moon’s orbit will bring it closer to earth than anytime in the last 18 years. The full moon will be within 221,567 miles of Orange County and look about 14% larger than normal.
WILL BE 14% LARGER
Some believe a Supermoon can bring on global chaos on earth causing earthquakes and hurricanes. The NASA website disputes this theory- http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2011/16mar_supermoon/
Best time and place to look will be around 7 pm in the eastern sky.
