70 DEGREES MEANS SUMMER HAS ARRIVED IN SOCAL
A sure sign summer has arrived in Southern California is when the ocean temperature reaches the seventy degree threshold. Although seventy is not quite tropical it is the point I can semi-comfortably enter the water without a wetsuit. At 5 pm yesterday, May 18, the ocean temp hit 70.
This is relatively early in the season for the ocean to warm up so hopefully it’s an indicator that we’re in for another summer with great beach weather.
