THE SOCAL SUMMER THAT WON’T END

Endless Summer 2014

Technically the Summer of 2014 ended on September 22, signaling a transition to Autumn. Halloween is now in the rear view mirror and our East Coast and Midwest friends have had frost on their pumpkins along with a snowstorm or two.  But here in California we are experiencing the year of the Endless Summer with warm weather and ocean temperatures that have not dipped below 70 degrees since last spring!

Check out the beach and you’d think we’re in Hawaii with all the swimmers & body boarders. I think we owe it to El Nino but regardless I am enjoying this very unusual extended summer of 2014.

Photos below were taken in The OC in early November, 2014.
